Belbeck is an unincorporated region of Saskatchewan, and is classified as a rural municipality of Moose Jaw. An unincorporated region in Canada is a large remote, rural area with less than 100 people . A Canadian rural municipality is similar to a county in the United States, but is much larger. Belbeck, which is north of Moose Jaw, is a large area consisting of a few widely scattered farms. Belbeck’s remoteness is exemplified by the fact that it does not even appear on most maps.
Belbeck is generally defined as the area between Moose Jaw and Tuxford. Tuxford is about 12 miles north of Moose Jaw. Belbeck is about 6 miles north of Moose Jaw, on Saskatchewan Highway 2.
