8 children
Jane his first wife ob 28th April 1823 at 28Elijah his 3rd son drowned in the river Suir Feb 1836 and buried at
Waterford at 16Thomas his 2nd son wrecked on the coast of Newfoundland and perished in the
ice attempting to reach shore. 1838 22.This stone was erected by Joseph his eldest son in respectful memory.
