    • (Research):During his adult life John Rendall was a marriner and then a stone mason. He married Susanna Bennett Stone (b. 1822, Portland, father: John Motyer Stone, mother: Susanna Bennett) 20 Jun 1848 in the Independant Chapel, Portland. Their children were Robert Stone, William, Elizabeth, James (Adopted), John, Margaret, Susanna Bennett and Annie Goddard. Their children were born in Portland. Circa 1860 the family moved to Portsmouth, Hampshire. John Rendall died in 1902 in Portsea, Hampshire.
