  (Research):The Royal Gazette (Bermuda) reported the death of this youngster as follows: "Death on Tuesday last (31 Jul 1821), at Port Royal, Southampton, Bermuda, Samuel, infant son of Mr. Copeland COOPER." Searches to date have not found a Samuel as having been born to Copeland COOPER and Charity BASDEN, thus,for now we must conclude that there was an error on the part of the newspaper - this child, in fact, was Nathaniel Hill COOPER.
