| 2nd West India Regiment |
- The West India Regiments (WIR) were infantry units of the British Army recruited from and normally stationed in the British colonies of the Caribbean between 1795 and 1927. Initially, battalions were established in Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and other Caribbean islands. They were formed in 1796, and disbanded in 1888. In 1888, the two West India Regiments then in existence were reduced to a single unit of two battalions. This regiment differed from similar forces raised in other parts of the British Empire in that it formed an integral part of the regular British Army.

- Salt Cay is their place of marriage. The only place with the name of Salt Cay that I could find, was in the Turks and Caicos Islands. So the location of Salt Cay is my guess.
Theodara was only 15 years old when she was married.
