| Notes |
- (Research):
Joseph Motyer was a widower from Abbotsbury at the time of his marriage to Israel Keech (who was also a widow).
A death of a Betty Motyer (alias Frances Chickerell) fits as a possible marriage. Burial was 23 Sept 1760.
And a Joseph Motyer who married an Elizabeth Chip in 1742 in Buckland Ripers is another possible marriage.
A Thomas Melmore (born 1711) married Elizabeth Frances (born 1712) in Hammoon, Dorset in 1733. Thomas died 1750.
Thus did Elizabeth remarry and is Betty Motyer (alias Frances) who died in Chickerell? There seems to be an ELizabeth Chip (christened 1726) in Wimborne, Dorset.
