  Family tree of Solomon BENJAMIN (1873-1942) & Frances "Fanny" PHILLIPS (1875-1960) and their descendants I don't know when this diagram was drawn, or by whom. It was provided to me by my mum on her return from a visit to England, so I assume that my mum & her siblings might have created it, possibly about 1980. This diagram opens in a new window.

  
  

• Notes

  (Research): My mum's family tree diagram (drawing), that someone in her family drew up generations ago, clearly shows Shelagh Lynn BENJAMIN as having married a Ken RUSSELL, and that they had 2 daughters: Jade and Holly. However, Shelagh Lynn BENJAMIN married Kevin P. RUSSELL in April 1969, and we have their marriage certificate.  And Jade & Holly both confirmed that their father is Kevin.  Kevin's parents were Arnold RUSSELL and Madge SMITH.  His siblings were (alphabetically): Damon, Gail, Gary, Guy, Larry, Lester, Lorraine, Paul, and another male (name unknown to us).  As far as we know, there was no Ken amongst the siblings. There is a Kenneth RUSSELL listed on Ancestry.ca, but that tree is protected & not viewable by the public, so I can't see any details about him. At present (in late 2023), it seems that Kenneth RUSSELL is still around & in the lives of his daughters Jade & Holly, as reported by Ginny from information found by Jackie on Facebook.  Supposedly, both Kevin and Ken are either mentioned in the same Facebook conversation, and/or are in the same picture in a Facebook conversation. Until we can determine definitively that Ken is NOT connected to Shelagh in any way, I will leave him connected here to Shelagh Lynn BENJAMIN for now.
