| Obituary |
5 Dec 2009 |
Burlington, Ontario, Canada |
- It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Leonce Reginald Motyer on Saturday, December 5, 2009, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 54 years to Sally Motyer (nee Benjamin). Loving father of John Motyer of Bermuda, Leonce Motyer of Belleville, Sally Gallo (Paul) of Burlington and Valerie George (David) of Edmonton. Cherished grandpa of Heather, Curtis, Dani, Katie and Kristin. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Myrtle, Jean, John and Gwennie.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Burlington Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Wellington Square United Church located at 2121 Caroline Street in Burlington. The service begins at 1:00 p.m. and a reception will follow in St. Paul's Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
A very special thank you to the EMS response teams and emergency room staff at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital for their hard work and kindness during this very difficult time.
Arrangements entrusted to Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, 2241 New Street (at Drury Lane) (905-637-5233).
